Kirino and Kyousuke stood in Kirino’s room, Kyousuke held Kirino’s flight ticket to America in a clutched fist. Kyousuke hammered Kirino with questions, “You’re leaving tomorrow?! When were you going to tell me-” Kirino swung a leg around and kicked Kyousuke in the ribcage, sending him flying on to her bed and causing him to drop the ticket. Kyousuke stumbled back onto his feet, he shook his head with a chuckle.
It’ll be nice and quiet without you here. Maybe I’ll finally get to live a normal life without you. Kirino’s face turned a shade of crimson, she clearly wasn’t happy to hear anything like that. She struggled to find a way to reply to such a harsh statement, but she eventually screamed “Fine!

Troubled by this, Kyosuke comes to Kirino, who gives him his own life counselling and decides to help him search for her in a hot spring town. After they eventually manage to find her, Ruri points that Kirino hadn’t truly accepted her dating Kyosuke, forcing her to confess her true feelings that she didn’t want him to have a girlfriend, which was the reason she passed off Kouki as her boyfriend.

After Ruri hears all this and a makes a curious remark towards Kyosuke before temporarily passing out, she reveals she is simply moving to a nearby town for family reasons, having only been in the town on vacation, and will still be relatively close to the others.

Kirino x Kyousuke ftw. HAVE MY HEART CRUSHED (although it already is bc of kuroneko and kyousuke hahaha sobs) kyousuke and kuroneko dating.
This will be the final reflection I supply for OreImo , pertaining specifically to these final few episodes. When the visual novel was released, I had hoped that the anime would take creative liberties and wrap things up in a different manner than the light novel did, but that turned out to be a little too much to ask for. The ONA episodes, in spite of the difficult-to-accept ending, end up being amusing to watch nonetheless.
While we are on the topic of the fist fight, after hearing about it in the light novel, I had desired to see it regardless of how the ending proceeded, and I was not disappointed. The fight felt personal, desperate and driven by years of mutual animosity that had finally come forward, acting as the highlight of sorts for the final few episodes. This leaves me at the doorstep of what I think of the series overall: everything about season one was brilliant, and the televised run of season two was satisfactory.
I feel that the ending to OreImo was a little ambiguous, leaving viewers to draw their own conclusions to what would otherwise be a series well-worth watching. OreImo is a case where the journey is vastly more enjoyable than the destination. Viewers looking for a good journey, while simultaneously holding a degree of tolerance for the ill-executed ending, will enjoy this series. For individuals whose impressions of a series are more heavily affected by the ending, they might do better to pass on this anime altogether.
Throughout season two, relationships and dating form a larger part of the conflicts, affirming that both Kyousuke and Kirino have a ways to go before they are willing to accept that either are in a relationship with someone.
Oreimo Kuroneko TPB 1 (Dark Horse Comics)
Kyousuke and Kuroneko spend their days wonderfully established in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship-then suddenly, Kuroneko decides that they must break up! In the end, what will be the true relationship between Kuroneko In the bright sparkle of summer, Ruri Gokou has descended to earth in her sundress as her divine persona, Kamineko!
And wouldn’t you know-now Kyousuke and Ruri have begun seeing each other! Will their date together bring It’s summer in Japan, and Kirino is back, which can mean only one thing.
Kyousuke and Kuroneko spend their days wonderfully established in a Will their date together bring to light the hitherto unseen object of her desire–and will.
After Kyousuke and Kirino graduate from their respective schools, they are confronted by Manami, who has come to fight Kirino for Kyousuke. She comes right out and calls their romance disgusting and threatens to tell their parents,. After several blows are exchanged between her and Kirino, Manami confesses to Kyousuke, who turns her down, saying Kirino will always come first. She slaps him and leaves. Kyousuke and Kirino get married in a chapel and exchange a kiss, and then go back to being normal siblings, as they decided on Christmas Eve.
We knew Manami was going to be upset when she learned about her betrothed going out with his little sister, but we had no idea she was going to be such a badass in this final episode. This begs the question: if that romance was temporary, what purpose was served by having Kyousuke burn his last bridge with another girl? Later, Kyousuke wakes up with Kirino sleeping next to him, testing for his reaction.
Kirino is no longer moving abroad after graduation, which definitely affects the course of her life, if track is what she loves and abroad is the place to train. Almost ridiculously notable in their absence are their parents. How long can they keep so big a secret from them, and is it even right to do so?
Oreimo Kuroneko Volume 1
Oreimo Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai Oreimo Oreimo is about a high school student named Kyousuke Kousaka who finds out that his high-achieving little sister Kirino is a closet otaku who loves playing eroge, and how it begins to mend their fraught relationship. There are a lot of wonderful female characters in this series who all have great personalities and interactions, many of which are very femslashy!
The series is also very funny and sweet and has a great message that everyone is weird in their own way and that’s okay. The series is available to watch for free on Crunchyroll, except for the last 4 episodes of season 1. Here’s a little bit more about the pairings I nominated: Kirino and Ayase Ayase is Kirino’s best friend, who works with Kirino and also goes to her school. They’re fashion models – see what I said above about Kirino being an overachiever?
That’s the problem on Kuroneko’s mind: She’s glad to be by Kyousuke’s side, but fears Will their date together bring to light the hitherto-unseen object of her.
My start with it was an iffy one a couple years ago. Kuroneko had become my favorite Anime character out of all series by this point, and I expected Kyosuke was likely to choose her after he rejected His Angel Ayase. Prior to the finale, I got my friend started on Oreimo, and actually rewatched the entire series with him in a couple weeks. Him, my roommate and my other friend all got together that night to see what would happen.
First, my initial reaction through the major scenes, and then what I ended up actually thinking about the ending. We had four Kuroneko supporters in the room, and she was the first person up. The room got dead silent, as we watched Kuroneko tear her destiny record into pieces and break down after being rejected. Who would he choose?
She does her Kirino thing, creep, annoying, I hate you etc. Then Kyosuke brings out the big love guns. Regardless we continue, frustrated that Kyosuke gave up a relationship with both Ayase and Kuroneko for his sister. Incest is.. They go to a hotel, and turns out they were both serious.

After Ayase leaves, Kyousuke tells Kuroneko he needs time to settle things with Kirino before dating anyone; Kuroneko concurs. It’s perfectly reasonable to see.
October 13, 5 Comments. Well, I somehow managed to finish this series. The last few episodes, from about the 12th one onwards, were pretty darned difficult, but since I did want to write a little about OreImo , I felt that I had to finish it. Anyways, a few short comments from me then. Episode 14 sank my ship, and as I once said I would do, I will just leave it and not try to reason it around.
Apparently Kyousuke does love Kuroneko — he just loves his sister more. Oh well. I always knew it could end this way — even though I much preferred Kuroneko, reading a couple of the light novels told me what kind of author Fushimi Tsukasa was. The most painful episode to watch was episode This was really, really heartbreaking…. I think that even the most hardcore fan would probably say that the second season was a mess.
